Dr. Lijana Shestopal, DTCM, C.SMA
Dr. Lijana Shestopal DTCM, L.Ac, C.SMA is an Illinois State Licensed Acupuncturist and a board certified herbalist. She is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine as certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Lijana Shestopal graduated with her master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, and completed doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University in California.
In addition to her extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lijana Shestopal is also one of only 160 practitioners worldwide that has completed a Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture Specialist® program.
Dr. Justina Baranauskaite, ND, LAc.
Dr. Justina Baranauskaite ND, L.Ac is an Illinois State Licensed Acupuncturist and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Justina graduated with her master’s degree in acupuncture as well as her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. She received her bachelor’s in neuroscience at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is certified in Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) which helps the nervous system clear stress from the body. Dr. Justina not only has an interest in treating acute and chronic pain having been an athlete herself, but also emphasizes proper nutrition, sleep, stress, and anything that stands in the way of optimal health.
Naturopathic medicine takes a holistic approach to health and views the body as a whole working in unison. This means that to perform to our best abilities nutrition, sleep, stress, hydration, rest, movement are all important factors of our health. Dr. Justina believes in individualized care meaning lab work, supplements, diet, and lifestyle recommendations are all tailored to your specific needs.
