Are your running shoes the reason for your pain?
A lot of us may not be aware of the fact that running shoes need to be changed every 300-500 miles. You do not have to be a professional runner for that to be the case. If you wear your running shoes while running errands, it would still count towards that mileage. A couple of things that will affect how fast the shoe loses the protective shock absorption is the terrain on which you use it and the weight of the person.
If you are experiencing plantar fasciitis, take a look at your shoes. If the shoes are worn down and causing over pronation, it can cause tiny tears in the plantar fascia tissue causing heel pain and inflammation. Worn down shoes also lose the shock absorption quality which can further cause issues to your knees, hips and back.
